Aimed at educating ourselves about investing, members follow individual stocks owned by the group and research other stocks for purchase. Occasional speakers have helped broaden our knowledge about such topics as strategies for deciding when to sell, cyclical stocks and technical analysis of the market as a whole. Prospective members are encouraged to attend a few meetings before deciding to join.
